These website terms provide a plain-language starting framework and should be reviewed before accepting paid work, particularly as payment channels and service packages are finalized.
Service scope
Each paid engagement is governed by the agreed scope, deliverables, revision limits, milestones, price and delivery expectations communicated before work begins.
Payments and milestones
Paid work begins after the applicable order or milestone is funded/confirmed through the agreed payment channel. Final usable deliverables may be tied to completion of the corresponding payment milestone.
Author ownership
The author retains ownership of author-supplied manuscripts and original author-owned creative material. Any rights in newly created deliverables should be defined in the project scope and subject to third-party license restrictions where applicable.
No outcome guarantees
Hatti does not guarantee sales, bestseller status, rankings, reviews, advertising performance, retailer acceptance or any specific commercial outcome.
Platform independence
Hatti is not affiliated with Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing, IngramSpark, Draft2Digital or other publishing platforms unless explicitly stated in writing. Platform policies and acceptance decisions are controlled by those third parties.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to materials they provide, for reviewing final creative decisions and for complying with applicable platform, legal, tax and publishing requirements relevant to their account.
Revisions and additional work
Work outside the agreed scope or revision allowance may require a new milestone, fee or project quote.
