This policy describes the intended data practices for the Hatti Author Studio website and service workflow. It should be reviewed again before public launch if the form, analytics, payment or storage stack changes.

Pre-launch note: The site package currently uses email-based enquiries and does not include a server-side manuscript-upload system. Update this policy before enabling additional analytics, payment processors or file-storage services.

Information you may provide

When you contact Hatti, you may provide your name, email address, book title, genre, publication status, retailer links, book description, project goals and optional manuscript excerpts or project files.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to enquiries, conduct the requested assessment, prepare project scope, deliver agreed services and maintain necessary project records.

Manuscripts and creative material

Submission of a manuscript or excerpt does not transfer ownership to Hatti Author Studio. Materials are used for the requested evaluation or agreed service.

Third-party services

The website may use infrastructure, email, marketplace, payment or analytics providers. Their own privacy terms apply to data processed through their services. The public policy should identify material providers once the final production stack is enabled.

Data minimization

Authors should submit only the information required for the current request. A full manuscript is not required for the free Book Health Check.
